Murdi Paaki Services Limited (MPSL) invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitably qualified and experienced Group Training Organisations wishing to be added to a Panel of Pre-approved Suppliers (the Register) to undertake GTO services in Murdi Paaki Region. The Murdi Paaki Region comprises approximately forty per cent of the land area of NSW includes the city of Broken Hill, a number of smaller towns such as Wilcannia, Bourke and Lightning Ridge, and villages.
The nature of the programme is to support a Region-wide Aboriginal apprentice employment and training programme in carpentry and other building disciplines. More details on the Murdi Paaki Asset Preservation Project: Building Skills for Building Better Homes Programme are included in the Expressions of Interest (Eol) documents provided to individuals and firms who wish to submit an Eol . An applicant must be a legal entity that is recognised and acceptable to MPSL and the NSW Government. EOI`s will not be considered from individuals or firms found to be under external administration, nor will registration of an applicant extend to an associate or subsidiary owned or controlled by the applicant.
MPSL will use the Register to identify, assess and engage both individuals and corporate entities as contractors to undertake work in conjunction with MPSL to support trainees and apprentices to complete the required training as part of this programme.
The EOI is the first stage of a two-stage engagement process. The objective of the process is to identify, and pre-register individuals and firms interested in entering into a proposed contract with MPSL. and having the capacity, capability and experience to help drive a process of change. EOI's will be assessed in accordance with designated criteria set out in this invitation by the Tender Evaluation Committee (TEC) comprising representatives of the NSW Government and Murdi Paaki Regional Assembly (MPRA). Only organisations that are pre-registered through this EOI process will be eligible to submit tenders.
