Tender Description
Toowoomba Regional Council (TRC) is seeking expressions of interest through the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) for projects to take centre stage across the region.
RADF is delivered as a partnership between the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland and Toowoomba Regional Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.
TRC Regional Arts Advisory Committee Spokesperson Councillor Trevor Manteufel said Council is ‘casting’ a wide net in a bid to identify the next organisations or individuals to benefit from funding.
“RADF recognises the important role the arts play within our community. This valuable program allows council to invest and promote local arts and culture,” Cr Manteufel said.
“RADF funding allows us to help residents take their passion to the next level. It also allows local communities to identify and celebrate what makes them unique,” he said.
“Applications can be made by individual emerging and established artists, producers and creative practitioners, businesses, registered not-for-profit organisations, groups and collectives.
“Applications can be for professional development, creation and or presentation of new work or projects and priority will be given to applications that best address the assessment criteria.
“I would encourage anyone who thinks they may be eligible to have a look at the guidelines and reach out to us if they need anything clarified.”
RADF supports arts and cultural activities that:
- Increase access to arts and cultural experiences in regional Queensland
- grow employment and capacity building opportunities for artists and arts workers across regional Queensland
- deliver on local arts and cultural priorities and promote the value of arts culture and heritage
Expressions of interest must be received with RADF guidelines and how to apply found on the Council website. For more information on RADF visit Grants & funding (tr.qld.gov.au)
