Banyule City Council proposes to engage a Lead Design Consultant for the design to upgrade Watermarc and 1 Flintoff as a combined electrified precinct. The successful consultant will be appropriately experienced and resourced to undertake the design for the electrification of WaterMarc & 1 Flintoff Offices located at 1 Flintoff Street, Greensborough.

The project involves the design for the electrification of WaterMarc & 1 Flintoff Offices in accordance with the design brief.

An overview of the works required includes but is not limited to:

• Investigate local transformer capacity.

• Structural assessment of plantroom and platform present at roof.

• Electrical loading study of precinct (Watermarc and 1 Flintoff offices).

• Detailed design for electrification work.

• Specification development and contract documentation.

• Construction contract administration.

Background information / Compatibility requirements

In addition to the above, Consultants are to visit the site and make their own investigation and assessment of site conditions. Consultants will have the opportunity to visit the site with the Project Engineer present on Thursday 7 November 2024 at 10:00am. This site visit is not mandatory, but it is strongly recommended to attend the site visit to understand the building constraints.

Consultants are to meet the Project Engineer at 1 Flintoff Street Greensborough, next to the external flag poles. Please email nev.jarram@banyule.vic.gov.au your confirmation of attendance by COB on Wednesday 6 November 2024. Note this will be the only opportunity to visit the site.
