The provision of Cleaning Services for Community Enterprise Queensland (CEQ) at its premises on Thursday Island.

Locations include: IBIS Waibene Supermarket, Col Jones business unit, Regional Office and TI Hardware shared bathroom facilities.

The successful applicant will:

•  provide cleaning services to all specified CEQ outlets in accordance with industry standards
•  Provide recommendations for improving services on an as needs basis
•  Tenderers must have the capacity to professionally strip and seal the Main Store and Col Jones main shop floors annually.

CEQ is a Queensland Government Statutory Body responsible for providing essential goods and services to the Torres Strait, Northern Peninsula Area, and mainland Aboriginal remote communities.

As a Statutory Body, CEQ is required to adhere to the Queensland Government Procurement Strategy which focuses on prioritising Queensland businesses, supporting local jobs in regional Queensland and achieving positive economic, social and environmental outcomes by investing in technology and innovation and to choosing ethical businesses.

Tenders are to comply with all regulations as set out in the tender documentation. Prior to submitting its Tender, the Tenderer shall have, and warrants that it has, carried out all relevant investigations, and has examined and acquainted itself with, and satisfied itself that it has availed itself of all information which is relevant to the risks, contingencies and other circumstances which could affect the tender or the performance of the contract, and which is obtainable by the making of reasonable enquiries, including without limitation:

•  The sites and scope of works as per the specification; and
•  That the works are to be performed outside normal business hours.
