Tamworth Regional Council is seeking Expressions of Interest from licenced real estate agents who are able to manage Council’s portfolio of residential tenancies within the Tamworth City area.

Council invites licenced real estate agents with residential property management experience to make a submission to this request for Expressions Of Interest. A successful Interested Party will be required to have relevant and demonstrated knowledge of property management and be able to effectively manage a number of residential tenancies in accordance with the relevant legislation and regulations.

Council is seeing a managing agent to undertake the following duties:

1. Collection of rent, maintaining rent records and providing regular rental reports or owner statements
2. Management of any trust monies or rental bonds
3. Arranging for property repair and maintenance work in consultation with Council staff
4. Preparation and execution of residential tenancy agreements
5. Conducting regular property inspections and providing inspection/condition reports
6. Providing advice on current market rental rates
7. Advertising available rental properties and providing advice on tenant selection
8. Providing relevant notices and other correspondence to tenants
9. Any other residential management duties required for effective property management
