Queensland Rail has a requirement for the provision of Tree Trimming Services South East Queensland (SEQ).

Queensland Rail operates an extensive rail network across Queensland, providing suburban and long-distance services across the state. As part of that railway operation, Queensland Rail has approximately 400km of corridor areas within Southeast Queensland.

Tree trimming management and removal services are required within corridor areas across Southeast Queensland. This includes the North Coast line between Brisbane and Tamaree and the Shorncliffe, Ferny Grove, Pinkenba, Kippa-Ring, and Cleveland lines. It also includes the Gold Coast line to Varsity Lakes and the Ipswich line as far as Rosewood and the Springfield line to Springfield Central. Non-operational lines that form part of this scope of work include Thomas Street to Churchill, The Box flats line, Ebenezer line & The Tennyson line between Corinda and Yeerongpilly.

The work performed is largely preventative work performed during weekend Scheduled Corridor Access Shutdowns (SCAS closures). The contractor also responds to emergency call outs, 24 hours a day, when trees have damaged our infrastructure including OHLE, private property and station car parks.
