The Works sought include the provision of improved parking and pedestrian facilities adjacent to the Rockhampton State High School and Exhibition Road on behalf of the Rockhampton Regional Council.

Scope of Works includes:

- Construct a continuous concrete footpath link along the school frontage on Exhibition Road

- Angle parking to be provided on the school side of Exhibition Road, moving vehicles off the verge

- To facilitate the introduction of angle bays, kerb and channel must be reconstructed to widen the pavement area

- The on-road cycle lane on the school side of Exhibition Road be removed

- New wide shared path and on-road to off-road transitions provided

- An existing bus stop is to be moved further from the roundabout, with an asphalt hardstand provided
