The Shire of East Pilbara invites Tenders from suitably experienced Contractors for the supply and installation of shade sails and associated infrastructure at twenty (20) site locations across the local government area.

The Principal owns and maintains a total of one hundred and ninety two (192) shade sails. Following a condition assessment of the shade sails, it was found that while not all sails are worn or damaged, there is a total of one hundred and twenty seven (127) shade sails that require replacing.

• Marble Bar - 4
• Newman - 122
• Nullagine - 1

Tenderers shall note that Nullagine is an approximate driving distance of 195 kms from Newman, and Marble Bar is located a further 112 kms from Nullagine.

The shade sails to be supplied will replace existing sails at parks, buildings or car park shade structures and must comply to all Australian Standards and in conjunction with Playground Standards. Attachment 1 describes the condition and expectations in detail.

Additionally, this Request is seeking provisional pricing for a further two (2) sites that may be considered with the tender at the sole discretion of the Principal, refer to 2.2.4
