North Central Catchment Management Authority (North Central CMA) is seeking proposals from suitably qualified agencies, organisations or individuals (Contractors) to undertake woody weed control and removal works along the Coliban River at Lauriston. Target weeds include willow (various species) blackberry, gorse, broom and hawthorn. Willow removal will require a combination of stem injection, foliar spray, full mechanical removal, and burning piles of debris.

There will be a mandatory tender briefing to be held at Lauriston on Monday 18th November from 8.45am-10am.

The question period relevant to this brief will commence on Tuesday 5th November 2024 and end on Monday 25th November 2024 at 4pm.

Lauriston Sight Visit

A briefing session will be held at Lauriston Town Hall, 440 Lauriston Road, Lauriston, Vic, Australia, 3444 on 18 November 2024 08:45 am.

Notes: Please meet Catchment Restoration Officer Lang Dowdell at Lauriston Town Hall, Lauriston. All participants must arrive at 8:45am for registration and OH&S briefing. Morning briefing will be followed by a tour of the properties (freehold and Crown land) along the Coliban River selected for woody weed removal. This will allow contractors to view the sites and ask questions. Please note your own vehicle will be required.

A site visit is a pre-requisite to submission and consideration of a bid.
