Alpine Shire Council requests tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the provision, installation and maintenance of technology for Alpine Shire libraries in Bright, Myrtleford and Mount Beauty.

Alpine Shire Council operates three libraries as part of the High Country Library Network. This network includes Alpine Shire Council’s libraries in the communities of Myrtleford, Bright and Mount Beauty.

Council is seeking quotes from suitable suppliers for the delivery and installation of library technology at its three libraries, along with maintenance for a five-year period.

The scope of this project is as follows:

• Provision and installation of three accessible self-loan station with height adjustable pedestals, for installation at Myrtleford, Bright and Mount Beauty libraries

• Provision and installation of 1.6m wide 2 column gates, fixed mount, for installation at Myrtleford and Mount Beauty libraries

• Provision of RFID Scanning Wand

• Provision of technology to support Digital Library Card for patrons

• Maintenance for all items for a five-year period; and

• Software and licensing to support use of the above technology in alignment with Council’s SirsiDynix Library management system software for a five-year period.
