Tender Description

Council will develop a new shared facility (Sports Stadium, Tennis Courts and support infrastructure) on a green field site, which forms part of the Somerset Primary School Site . The site address is 30 A Beaufort Street, Somerset. (Access to the site via Beaufort Street)

The project is one of the infrastructure priorities noted in the recently endorsed "Somerset Sports Precinct Master Plan".

Council requires the services of an Architect and sub consultant team to undertake the detailed design, documentation and approvals processes for the new shared facility including:

  • Stadium (Four (4) full size courts and support/ancillary facilities)
  • Four (4) new tennis Courts co-located with two (2) existing courts)
  • Landscaping of the site
  • Access and carparking
  • Site services.

Permits and approvals including development approval and Building/plumbing approval.

Tender ready documentation.

Any other works required to meet compliance requirements for the construction and

operation of the new shared facility.

The project deliverables are to be consolidated into one tender package. Note delivery of the works may be staged.

CLOSING DATE AND TIME: Tenders close at 3.00 pm AEST on 2 December 2024 and submissions must be fully received by this time. Council is not bound to accept the lowest priced Tender or all or any part of a Tender and reserves the right to conduct the Request for Tender process and select the successful respondent(s) as it sees fit. Council staff are unable to respond to verbal enquiries in relation to the proposal. Late, verbal or emailed proposals will not be accepted.
