The Queensland Government is seeking Proposals to establish four (4) new perinatal psychosocial supports services to enhance support for parents, partners and families who are impacted by or experiencing perinatal mental ill health, with a peer-to-peer workforce to support mothers and families during the antenatal and early parenting years. This commitment aligns with key actions under priority 1 of Better Care Together: A plan for Queensland’s state-funded mental health, alcohol and other drug services to 2027 (Better Care Together) to increase community-based perinatal and infant mental health (PIMH) treatment and support.
