Warrnambool City Council (Council) is seeking quotations for the design and construction of a pump track at the site known as 127-135 Queens Road Warrnambool.

As part of the South of the Merri Precinct Plan implementation (refer Appendix B), Warrnambool City Council, in conjunction with LRCI, is in the process of installing a pump track to the north of the retaining wall on the property known as 127-135 Queens Road Warrnambool.

The pump track will be located on the existing handstand area directly adjacent to the retaining wall.

This area is noted as flood prone and as such is subject to periodic inundation. Any structure, and associated earthworks, will need to take this into consideration. Should this area succumb to inundation, Council would like water to be able to get away easily. The structure will need to drain to the north to suit the existing topography.

Warrnambool City Council has a budget of $150,000.00 ex GST, inclusive of 10% contingency, to complete the project. Tender submissions in excess of $150,000.00 ex GST will be considered non-conforming.

This project has an anticipated completion date of mid-June 2025. Warrnambool City Council expects once construction commences onsite, the successful contractor will remain onsite to complete the works, unless approved by the Project Manager.

Tenderers are required to provide a concept as part of their submission.
