Tender Description
The Warrnambool City Council is seeking quotations from suitably qualified companies to implement a cloud-based unified communications (UC) and call centre solution, with native or high-level integration into Microsoft Teams.
Warrnambool City Council currently utilises an on-premise Alcatel-Lucent IP (OXE) PBX alongside a Grandstream PBX to support some SIP devices (DECT Handsets), the majority of handsets being Alcatel-Lucent IP Touch series handsets, with some analogue devices for specific services, there is currently no integration into the Microsoft Teams environment nor are soft phones currently used.
Recently Microsoft Teams has been used to provide internal calls (Teams to Teams), video conferencing and messaging as well as the other benefits of it being part of the Microsoft 365 offering.
The proposed solution will be required to integrate with Microsoft Teams natively or at a very high level to provide the end users with one interface for making and receiving calls. Warrnambool City Council use Microsoft Business Premium or Office E3 licenses for the majority of staff.
