The Taranaki Foundation has worked with the New Plymouth District Council (NPDC), Ngati te Whiti hapu and other partners to build an amazing destination playground at Kawaroa.

NPDC is now looking for an experienced trusted hospitality professional to operate on a Concessionaire lease at Destination Kawaroa for the next 5 years, where the provision of exceptional service and quality food and beverages is required to complement and enhance the experience of visitors and users to the destination playground and coastal walkway.

The NPDC has therefore chosen to seek a Request for Proposal (RFP) from suitably qualified and experienced hospitality operators interested in and able to provide that great level of service. This is for a mobile set up, recommended to be able to be removed each evening if necessary for security.
