The Aboriginal-led DFSV Prevention Initiative Grant is supported by the Aboriginal Advisory Board (AAB) with the Department of Children and Families (DCF) Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence Reduction Division (the Division).
These grants are for the implementation of prevention initiatives that address Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence (DFSV) across the Northern Territory.
Prevention initiatives must be designed, delivered and led by Aboriginal communities, increasing the likelihood they are culturally safe, relevant and have a significant impact on the communities in which they implemented.
This initiative will fund projects where Aboriginal people and communities identify and lead solutions for Aboriginal people and communities experiencing DFSV, in line with the principles of self-determination, community control and community leadership.
