Tender Description
Located 80 kilometres south of Sydney, Wollongong Local Government Area covers 714 square kilometres and occupies a narrow coastal strip bordered by the Royal National Park to the north, Lake Illawarra to the south, the Pacific Ocean to the east, and the Illawarra escarpment to the west. Wollongong City Council (Council) has a large upcoming capital programme requiring the design and construction of multiple infrastructure and building projects of varying size, scope and complexity.
For some of this work consultant expertise and resources will be required to develop complete design packages or to provide specific targeted input to Council's design process in the form of professional technical investigations, assessments and reporting.
Council's proposed Design & Technical Services Panel provides Council with the ability to appoint suitable contractors to provide design and technical services for a variety of disciplines as outlined in the Invitation to Tender.
