Cairns Regional Council (Council) invites Proposals from suitably qualified Respondents to develop, lease and occupy Council land, located at 271 Gatton St, Westcourt and 86-94 Tills Street, Westcourt QLD 4870.

This opportunity is open exclusively to community organisations that can demonstrate an ability to develop the site for a community purpose. A successful submission to this Request for Proposal may result in a lease with Council for a term of up to 20 years. A proposal can be accepted for either site 3 or 4 or both.

Cairns Regional Council officers are unable to respond to verbal enquiries in relation to the Request for Proposals. The forum will close five days prior to the closing time and date. Please ensure that all questions, information requests and clarifications are posted prior to this time.

We strongly recommend that you begin uploading your quotation submission files at least two (2) hours BEFORE the closing time.

Submissions will not be opened publicly.

Council reserves the right to change the specifications prior to making a decision on the submissions received in response to this invitation.

Council may invite all Respondents to change their submission to take into account any change in the specifications.
