The Ministry of Justice are seeking Registrations of Interest (ROI) from suitably qualified and experienced Main Contractors, to provide construction services for the Wellington High Court Seismic Strengthening Project.

The works will be undertaken to increase the resilience of the Wellington High Court from the current seismic rating to a rating as close as practicable to 67% of the New Building Standard. The works will be undertaken on a floor-by-floor basis following staging requirements that allow for a decant strategy.

We are seeking a main contractor who can facilitate the above as well as offer broader outcomes in terms of social, economic, and environmental benefits in delivering this Project.

This will be a multi-stage procurement approach (Stage 1: Registration of Interest to identify up to a maximum of four shortlisted respondents to be invited to a closed competitive Stage 2: Request for Tender).
