The Scope for the Building certification services includes the following:

1. Complete any outstanding development applications for building works in accordance with legislative requirements on behalf of Council.

2. Provide advice to Council on building works compliance matters as requested.

3. Provide advice to Council regarding building works matters as requested.

4. Prepare and submit any development applications for building works for Council (in relation to any projects undertaken by Council) in accordance with legislative requirements on behalf of Council.

5. Assist with the continual review and improvement of Council’s policies, guidelines and procedures to ensure their relevance and compliance with Federal and State legislative frameworks and policies as required.

6. Undertake inspections across the Tablelands Regional Council Local Government Area were requested in relation to the above aspects (the assessment of applications, progress inspections and/or compliance matters).
