Tender Description
The Queensland Fish Aggregating Devices (FADs) Program was established in 2019. The objective of the FADs Program is to enhance fishing, particularly recreational and charter fishing, in Queensland and to try and help reduce fishing pressure on overfished snapper and pearl perch stocks by providing an alternative fishing option for offshore fishers.
The FADs Program is being reviewed to improve efficiencies.
Fisheries Queensland, as part of the Department of Primary Industries, are looking to engage a supplier/suppliers for the design, build, supply, and delivery of up to 32 surface FADs and components of the 3 all-water FADs.
