The Town of Gawler is seeking professional caterers to provide high-quality food services that meet a variety of dietary requirements and event formats. Services will include, but are not limited to:

• Formal Council meetings and committee sessions
• Civic events and functions
• Staff events and training sessions (ad hoc)
• Community events hosted by Council.

Specifications

Formal Council meetings and committee sessions:

• A minimum of two healthy dinner menu options (including a vegetarian option)
• Dietary requirements catered for (with advanced notice provided)
• Catering for a minimum of 4 and maximum of 14 serves
• Menu made available 72 hours prior to meetings, with orders placed 36 hours prior to delivery time
• Delivery at approximately 5:45pm to the Town of Gawler Civic Centre, or as otherwise agreed
• Capacity to provide services for up to 70 meetings per year.

Events, functions and training sessions:

• Required on an ad-hoc basis.
• Flexibility to customise menu options to suit various event formats, from small group conferences to seated dinners for up to 100 guests

Key Requirements

Interested parties should demonstrate:

• Experience in catering for a variety of event types and sizes
• Ability to cater to diverse dietary needs (e.g., vegetarian, gluten-free)
• Strong local community presence and/or ability to source locally produced ingredients
• Appropriate food safety hygiene practices
