Alpine Resorts Victoria (ARV) manages the roads and carparks within the Resort boundaries. Corn Hill Rd is a sealed road within the Mt Buller Resort between Celia’s Toboggan Slope and the helipad. This road is used as access to the helipad and the unsealed section of road linking Mt Buller and Mt Stirling as well as used for carparking in the snow season.

Following a M5.9 earthquake in September 2021, ground movements induced by the earthquake caused damage to fill embankments at several locations along Corn Hill Rd. Site 6 has been identified as the current priority to remediate.

ARV are seeking “Turn Key” Project Management (PM) services to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of the procurement and construction stages of the remediation works.

At the commencement of the engagement, the PM is to develop a Project Delivery Plan (PDP). The PDP will clearly demonstrate how the project will be delivered and will include at least the following:

• Project program: demonstrate the process and order the works will be delivered to ensure compliance with the works timeframe and constraints detailed in section 3.
• Procurement methodology: identify trades, contractors and consultants required and the type of engagement that will be undertaken in accordance with the requirements set out in stages 1 – 3 below.
• Project budget: Develop an overall project budget including committed costs, actual expenditure and forecasting. A Bill of Quantities (BoQ) has been produced by WSP and can be used by the PM in developing the budget. The BoQ is attached in Appendix 2.

The contract is expected to be awarded in December 2024. The Organisation has no tolerance for physical works being delayed past 15 May 2024 due to alpine weather conditions.
