The Aboriginal Community Connectors Program (ACCP) delivers essential community services by providing transport to a safe place, diversion from unsafe situations, referrals to complementary services, mediation or de-escalation where safe to intervene for people who are at risk of harm and assistance to community members to attend local events and activities in the regions.

A draft Request for Tender (RFT) has been developed and Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCOs) now have an opportunity to provide feedback on this document. 

We are asking for your feedback on specific sections of the RFT, those sections around the specifications, outcomes, and your requirements to complete the RFT. These are the only sections where you can provide feedback; there are other sections in the RFT that cannot be altered due to compliance, legal and tendering requirements.  A questionnaire has been developed to assist ACCOs to frame their feedback, this is attached.  

Briefing

A briefing session will be held at 5 Newman Court, Fremantle at 4 Feb, 2025 9:30 AM.

There will be 2 non-mandatory briefing sessions on Tuesday 4 February 2025. For non-current ACCP providers this will be from 0930 - 1100; for current ACCP providers this will be from 1300 - 1430.

The briefings will be online (via TEAMS), organisations wishing to take part will need to register by 3 February 2025 by contacting aboriginalcommunityconnectors@communities.wa.gov.au
