Warrnambool City Council is seeking quotations from suitably qualified and experienced consultants for the preparation of a 10 year Early Years Infrastructure Plan.

The Municipality of Warrnambool covers 120sqkm in Victoria’s South West. It includes the City of Warrnambool and townships of Allansford, Bushfield and Woodford. It has annual population growth of about one per cent, a population of 35,500 and is the most populous City in the South West (Regional City Status).

The Victorian Government has an ongoing commitment to strengthening early childhood education. This work commenced with the release of the Education State Early Childhood Reform Plan, ready for kinder, ready for school, and ready for life; and the delivery of Three-Year-Old Kindergarten across the state.

The Early Years Infrastructure 10 Year Plan will provide both an analysis of the infrastructure currently supporting the existing service demand, and the projected infrastructure required to fulfil the demand for early childhood services over the short, medium and long-term. This will include where new residential developments have been identified in existing structure plans and the location of Councils existing infrastructure.
