This Contract covers the supply and the laying of slurry surfacing containing a polymer modified binder (micro-surfacing) to various Rockhampton and Gracemere town streets.

Traffic control will be supplied by the Contractor. Traffic control shall not be paid for specifically and allowance therefore shall be made by the contractor in his program and their tender rates for slurry surfacing.

It is envisaged that the work will be done between April 2025 and June 2025 at a mutually agreed time for the Contractor and Council as per the included program.

The Contractor will be required to do letter drops informing residents of the proposed date/s of the slurry surfacing in a specific location and requesting them not to park on the street. It will be the Contractor’s responsibility to ensure that the street is clear of any vehicles and any delays due to parked vehicles will be at the Contractor’s own risk
