NZTA is refreshing its infrastructure supplier prequalification system as part of the regular prequalification update cycle and to refresh our prequalification system to ensure it remains fit for purpose and to better support our procurement processes.
Prequalification is a critical procurement intelligence and support tool for NZTA. Prequalification provides assurance that suppliers have capability and capacity to work for us. The prequalification system refresh has also been designed to help reduce barriers to entry and support our procurement processes.
Prequalification is a requirement for all physical works suppliers to provide services to NZTA.
All our current prequalified suppliers' prequalification status expires in June 2025, so we are using this opportunity to request updated prequalification information from these suppliers now, as well as to open the opportunity for other suppliers to apply for prequalification.
This Invitation to Qualify (ItQ) is seeking prequalification application from suppliers who wish to be considered to provide services to NZTA.
NZTA’s previous prequalification process and system will be superseded by this new process and system and all suppliers who wish to provide services to NZTA are required to re-apply (or update their current prequalification information) for NZTA prequalification.
