The successful contractor shall undertake all works associated with extending the verandahs of five (5) existing laundry buildings at the Defence Accommodation Precinct Darwin (DAPD), as detailed within the engineered drawings.

Establish and maintain a safe work site including the use of appropriate construction signage, temporary fencing and other relevant environmental control measures. (A suitable lay down area for machinery and materials will be provided).

Although a site inspection is not mandatory, it is strongly recommended that all respondents arrange a site inspection to ensure they are fully informed of the requirement including the location of the laundries and potential access restrictions. Failure to attend will not constitute approval of variations for omissions in Quotation Response submissions.
