Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced Tenderers for Mary Street Bank Stabilisation.

Council owns 18a Clapham Road as a drainage property, and ownership becomes private with some easements after councils owned property on the channel. The channel flows from south to north and is unlined until 21 Mary Street where there are some erosion controls in place.

Currently the physical channel is located 18a Clapham Road and in the adjacent properties 24 Clapham Road and 23 Mary Street. Erosion has occurred on both sides of the channel. Flooding events have made erosion worse.
