Tender Description
The Translink division of the Department of Transport and Main Roads is seeking responses to a Request for Quote for the provision of a journey planning location dataset.
The objective of the procurement is to enhance the accuracy and comprehensiveness of location data, points of interest (POI), and route paths, reducing the need for extensive data customisation and ensuring compatibility with the current backend system.
The scope of the contract includes the following (as detailed further in Schedule TMR1 - Requirements document):
- Dataset that includes:
- Road and path/track data
- Address data
- POI data including business data
- Dataset that covers the Translink region. See Attachment B - Translink region.zip
- Downloadable dataset in Open Street Map protobuf (PBF) format.
The contract term will be 12 months with no extension options.
