Maitland City Council (MCC) invites you to respond to their Request for Quotation (RfQ) for Landfill Environmental Management Plan project.

MCC owns and operates the Maitland Resource Recovery Facility (MRRF) which provides waste disposal and resource recovery services to the growing population of the Maitland Local Government Area (LGA).

MCC's Environmental Sustainability Strategy (ESS) and Waste Services Management Plan 2023-2026 focuses on meeting MCC's obligations under National, State and Regional plans, policies and legislation. A revised Landfill Environmental Management Plan (LEMP) is required to ensure compliance with all required regulations, guidelines, licence conditions and approvals.

The objective of this engagement is to submit a quote to provide technical services, a report, and associated plans for a site specific LEMP.

RFQ Acknowledgement and Confidentiality Deed:

Respondents are requested to complete the RfQ Acknowledgement Form (refer document titled: 02. 20242393 Landfill Environmental Management Plan Acknowledgment Form.pdf) and return via email to acknowledge your company will be submitting an RfQ submitted no later than 12.00 noon (DST) Tuesday 3rd December 2024 to sarah.jackson@maitland.nsw.gov.au.

Respondents are requested to complete a Confidentiality Deed (refer document titled: 01b.20242393 Confidentiality Deed) and return via email no later than 12.00 noon (DST) Tuesday 3rd December 2024 to sarah.jackson@maitland.nsw.gov.au to receive the entire Appendices detailing DA's and Compliance Audit.

The Respondent must populate its RfQ by way of completing the questions contained in Request for Proposal Part 2 (refer document titled: 06. 20242393 Landfill Environmental Management Plan Request for Proposal Part 2.docx) provided within the RfQ.

The Respondent must respond in the boxes provided for any text-based answers and expand the space as necessary. MCC prefers responses in each section be limited to less than 500 words. However, where a Respondent wants to attach additional relevant documents, ensure you include a reference to the attachment in the relevant section.

You must submit using an electronic copy of this document. Respondents must note that all questions MUST be completed.
