Tender Description
The procurement of up to 5 new bulldozers being described in more detail in the Statement of Requirements. May include new equipment or dealer certified used equipment with manufacturers warranty.
Project goals
The Soil Conservation Service (SCS) operates a commercial enterprise within the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (the Department). SCS heavy vehicle fleet requires upgrading to maintain service delivery and meet future service needs.
Scope
Purchase Options
Procure up to 5 new bulldozers in accordance with the specifications listed in the Statement of Requirements. The actual number of machines in each category may vary depending on the prices tendered. Prices may include new equipment or dealer certified used equipment that carries manufacturer’s warranty.
Lease Options
In addition to outright purchase, SCS wishes to explore lease options, including lease-to-purchase agreements. Suppliers should specify:
• Lease Terms: Options for operating leases, which allow for the return of the dozer at the end of the lease term, and capital leases that may include a purchase option or the ability to upgrade the dozer during the lease term or at the end of the lease.
• Monthly Payment Estimates: Provide projected monthly lease payments for the bulldozers.
• Purchase Protection: Include terms for any purchase protection plans available at the end of the lease
• Provision of optional upgrade machine specification or type during or at end of lease term

• Warranty Conditions
• Fuel Consumption
• Servicing Interval and Cost
• Availability / Lead-Time on Delivery
