The Council of the City of Sydney ("the City") invites tenders for the carrying out of Comingled Recyclables Processing Services in accordance with this Request for Tender.

The Service Provider must receive, sort, process and/or market all Delivered Material supplied by the City or the City's Collection Service Provider, maximising resource recovery and minimising disposal of waste to landfill. The source of Delivered Material includes the City's collected residential kerbside comingled recyclables and paper/cardboard from City run residential drop-off services.

The Service Provider must commence receipt of material from 1 July 2025, and will be engaged for a period of 5 years, with 2 x 2-year optional extensions.

Tenderers must submit tenders in the manner required by the RFT.

The City encourages First Nations People owned and operated businesses, Local SME, Start-ups as well as social enterprises (including Cooperatives) to work with us and respond to this opportunity.
