Notice of the upcoming tender for Doc66914648 EQL ‘Employee Novated Leasing Services.’
Energy Queensland Limited (EQL) anticipates releasing a Request for Tender (RFT) via SAP Ariba in early December 2024.
Background and Context
EQL is Australia’s largest, wholly government-owned electricity company and is at the centre of Queensland’s (QLD) energy transformation, employing over 9,300 employees across the state of QLD.
Of the various total reward benefits available to employees at EQL, approximately 821 employees currently have a novated lease with one of the EQLs providers and the interest in novated leasing continues to increase with the ever-changing economic climate and growing electric vehicle consumer market.
In support of EQLs Union Collective Agreement (EQL UCA) and EQLs broader desire to strengthen the benefits available to employees, it is our aim to provide employees with more choice of providers available for novated leasing
EQLs current novated leasing provider agreements expire in June 2025. Therefore, the aim of this tender is to award a selection of providers on a PCP; Preferred Contractor Panel basis to deliver competitive novated leasing provider options that offer and deliver on exceptional customer experience to the employees of EQL
In summary Respondents are invited to:
• Read the Scope of Works and then provide;
o their proposal outlining how they will provide Novated Leasing Services; and
o complete the ‘Response Schedule’ word document and
o complete the ‘Response Schedule’ excel document and
o provide any supporting documents.
The intent of this EOI ‘Expression of Interest’ is to identify interested ‘providers’ able to service EQL employee for Novated Leases on a panel arrangement.
Key dates:
• Tender release date: early December 2024.
• Tender close date: 31 January 2025.
How to Register Your Interest:
1. Tenderers who ARE already registered in Energy Queensland’s realm in SAP Ariba – email the Contact Officer: early.nguyen@energyq.com.au expressing your interest in participating. The email subject heading should contain the event title: Doc66914648- Employee Novated Leasing Services.
2. Tenderers who are NOT yet registered in Energy Queensland’s realm in SAP Ariba – will be required to register their interest by sending an email to the Contact Officer: early.nguyen@energyq.com.au and expressing your interest in participating and wanting to be added into Energy Queensland’s realm in SAP Ariba. The email subject heading should contain the event title: Doc66914648- Employee Novated Leasing Services.
The email should contain the following:
• Business legal entity name (as displayed in the ABN lookup)
• ABN
• Registered Business Street address
• Contact name.
• Contact phone number.
• Contact email address.
Please note:
The nominated contact person will need to have an Ariba account or register for one and be preferably “Public”. It’s important that this contact is someone authorised to manage sensitive information for your company such as the bank details. The person that you put here will manage your company’s Ariba account. This person doesn’t have to be the person that has the most contact with Energy Qld, but it must be someone that your business trusts with sensitive information.
A generic email address is preferable to ensure staff changes don’t impact the Ariba supplier record and/or receipt of event notifications. Additional contact/users can be added by the authorised Contact once registration is complete.
Once the event has been published:
1. Tenderers will be invited to respond and will be able to access the EQL SAP Ariba realm via a link contained in the email notification. Please note this link will expire within 24 hours.
2. Tenderers must accept the prerequisite Bidder Agreement under the ‘Review and Accept Prerequisites’ tab to ensure all system generated notifications are received. This includes, but is not limited to, Content updates and changes to Event Timing.
3. If the Tenderer elects to submit a response they must do so using EQL’s online tendering tool (SAP Ariba) only. Submissions provided via email or QTenders will not be considered for evaluation.
4. Tenderers are encouraged to read all relevant documentation located at https://www.energyq.com.au/suppliers
Tenderers offers are to be submitted through the RFT via Ariba once released. All relevant documentation (including the proposed Agreement and Response Schedules) will be available in the SAP Ariba event.
