This contract is for: Adams Road Thornton Bay, Retaining Walls

Thames-Coromandel District Council require a suitably experienced construction contractor to carry out physical works utilising NZS 3910:2013.

The contract physical works include, but are not limited to:

The Contract:

Constructing Walls 3 & 4 along the shoulder of Adams Road (RP0.25):

• Two palisade concrete pile retaining walls, approximately 20m long in total, 12 & 13m deep.

Provisional:

Constructing Walls 1 & 2 within the property of No.4 Adams Road, spanning DOC/Iwi land and principal road reserve.

• Two Steel H-pile retaining walls, approximately 25m long in total, 11m deep.

Due to budget limitations, Walls 1 and 2 are provisional. Refer to the Contract Documents for more information.

PRE-TENDER SITE MEETING: A pre-tender site meeting will be held on-site at:

No.4 (RP0.25) Adams Road, Thornton Bay – 10:00am Friday 6th December 2024.

ENQUIRIES: Any questions in relation to the Tender Documents must be submitted in writing via the tendering portal. Final date for enquiries is 4:00pm Wednesday 11th December 2024.

SUBMISSIONS: ONLY ELECTRONIC TENDERS SUBMITTED VIA THE TENDERING PORTAL WILL BE ACCEPTED. ELECTRONIC TENDERS SUBMITTED VIA ANOTHER METHOD OTHER THAN THE TENDERING PORTAL WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
