This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
IP Australia seeks to engage experienced suppliers to conduct an accessibility review and report of the following digital products. The goal is to ensure these products are compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 level AA and meet the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act 1992.
Digital Product context and scope:
- IP Australia website (ipaustralia.gov.au) is to empower Australians to make informed decisions about their intellectual property through an informative, accessible, and user-friendly experience. ipaustralia.gov.au is in scope for this audit comprising an assessment of a selection of approximately 200 pages, interactive forms, interactive tools, and a selection of 10 PDFs.

- IP Australia online services portal (portal.ipaustralia.gov.au) is to enable users to apply for their intellectual property. Online services vision is to provide a secure, modern, and user-friendly platform that simplifies the application of intellectual property rights for Australians. OLS (portal.ipaustralia.gov.au/login) is in scope for this audit comprising an assessment of a selection of approximately 20 transactions. Additionally, the inbox includes viewing and downloading documents.
- Trans-Tasman IP Attorneys Regulation (TTIPAR) website (ttipattorney.gov.au) provides an informative, intuitive, and user-friendly experience that supports IP attorneys across Australia and New Zealand to understand and fulfil their ongoing registration requirements. ttipattorney.gov.au is in scope for this audit comprising an assessment of a selection of approximately 50 pages.
The services we are requesting include:
- Accessibility review of the above digital products against WCAG 2.2 AA and Disability Discrimination Act 1992
- Conduct the review using manual and automated testing, on both desktop and mobile devices
- Perform code inspection and use various combinations of assistive technology and browsers
- Deliver separate reports for each digital product includes identifying issues and ranked for severity
- Provide feasible advice for remediation and prioritisation
