Project goals

The Western Parklands of Sydney is undergoing a rapid transformation, with projected population expected to grow from 740,000 (in 2016) to 1.2 million by 2036, and a new town in Wilton is one of the priority growth centres.

The market plays an important role in delivering Sydney Water’s growth objectives and we welcome your expertise as we embark on the procurement process of Pre-EOI Registration. Sydney Water reserves the right to change the procurement process at any time in its absolute discretion.

Scope

Through this registration process, Sydney Water invites organisations to demonstrate they have the right experience, capability, understanding and commitment to work with Sydney Water as our delivery contractor to deliver the scope, objectives, assets and more.

The existing Wilton WRRF is an activated sludge plant with membrane filtration and nutrient reduction. It is comprised of an inlet works, aerated bioreactors, sludge tanks and centrifuge, membranes, ferric dosing, UV, and chlorination. The treatment capacity is 1.0 MLD.

We are seeking a delivery contractor who has a sound understanding to design and construct (D&C) a capacity upgrade to increase the Wilton WRRF's treatment capacity to 2.1MLD with a potential option to further increase to 4.2MLD.
