A rare opportunity exists for suitably experienced commercial operators to play an important role in reinvigorating and reimagining one or both of Victoria’s well-loved alpine destinations, Lake Mountain and Mt Baw Baw.

Alpine Resorts Victoria (ARV) is inviting proposals from single entities or joint ventures interested in developing innovative, sustainable, commercial solutions for the resorts’ operations, at one or both resorts on a year-round basis.

Lake Mountain and Mt Baw Baw currently deliver a range of visitor offerings supported by established assets and infrastructure. While their operations are currently well defined, ARV welcomes the strategic vision of innovative and experienced commercial operators that can reimagine the resorts and position them for success into the future.

ARV is committed to setting operating models for Mt Baw Baw and Lake Mountain that will enable them to achieve financial sustainability. To that end ARV is seeking to explore a wide range of innovative ideas of scale and potential partnerships for revitalising the resorts, including an ‘umbrella’ or ‘principal’ management agreement option, to deliver a vibrant, future-forward, financially sound vision.

We invite entities to submit their proposals to be considered for this transformative project.
