Tender ID: 574233
Tender Details
Tender Description
The Queensland Government subsidises training that supports workforce participation by making skills and training accessible to diverse participants.
A key component of government investment is on economic priorities, local needs and student outcomes so our training system delivers for Queensland. Training delivery occurs through a contracted Skills Assure Supplier (SAS) network that delivers quality training in priority skills areas.
Almost a quarter of a million Queenslanders study a subsidised course with a SAS each year. Comprised of public, private, not-for-profit and dual-sector registered training organisations (RTOs), SAS providers are quality-assured to deliver training and assessment services funded by the Queensland Government.
The current Skills Assure Supplier (SAS) framework commenced on 1 July 2020 to support the delivery of the Queensland Government's core Vocational Education and Training (VET) funding programs, which are administered by the Department of Trade, Employment and Training (DTET). A new SAS framework will commence from 1 July 2025 with SAS Agreements awarded to successful RTOs commencing from 1 July 2025.
DTET currently provide a range of resources to support SAS providers with inclusive practices. To support the new SAS framework, DTET is looking to introduce a SAS inclusive practice micro-credential tool. Under the new framework, SAS personnel must complete the mandatory Inclusive Practice Micro-credential as and when directed by the Department.
DTET is seeking to engage an experienced Supplier to develop a SAS inclusive practice micro-credential that will enable DTET to design, build and deliver a more efficient, consolidated and sustainable inclusive practice tool that replaces the current suite of resources. The successful Supplier will be required to:
(a) design vocational education and training (VET) inclusive practices content.
(b) develop a customised, flexible and assessable online inclusive practice micro-credential; and
(c) host and deliver the micro-credential on their IT platform, accessible via a link housed on DTET’s IT platform Partner Portal. Partner Portal provides a secure way for eligible organisations to access DTET Services.
