FCNSW is seeking proposals from suitably qualified Proponents with the ability to provide seed monitoring, collection and extraction of Alpine Ash and White Ash in the State forests of the South Coast

Project goals

The Work Package on offer is for seed monitoring, collection and extraction in target areas, including:

· collection & extraction of up to 800kg Alpine Ash (Eucalyptus delegatensis) seed from varying locations in the state forests of the Snowy Mountains (Zones 1, 2 & 3).

· collection & extraction of up to 150kg White Ash (Eucalyptus fraxinoides) seed from varying locations in state forests of Southern NSW (Zones 3 & 4).

Scope

The Work Package on offer is for seed monitoring, collection and extraction in target areas, including:

· collection & extraction of up to 800kg Alpine Ash (Eucalyptus delegatensis) seed from varying locations in the state forests of the Snowy Mountains (Zones 1, 2 & 3).

· collection & extraction of up to 150kg White Ash (Eucalyptus fraxinoides) seed from varying locations in state forests of Southern NSW (Zones 3 & 4).

Works will be carried out within Zones, which are geographically described as follows:

· Zone 1 – Bago & Maragle State Forest;

· Zone 2 – Bondo State Forest;

· Zone 3 – State Forests of South-eastern NSW (Victorian border to Nimmitabel and east of the Great Divide); and

· Zone 4 – State Forests of the Southern Tablelands (Nimmitabel to Braidwood and East of the Monaro Highway).
