Healthy North Coast is seeking to commission an evaluation partner to work with us from March 2025 - March 2027 to evaluate the Community Wellbeing and Resilience program.

The Community Wellbeing and Resilience grant program (CWR) is administered by Healthy North Coast to support communities by investing in place-based initiatives that support communities to recover from the impacts of disaster and build their capacity to face future challenges.

The CWR program has delivered three previous rounds of grant funding in response to disasters in the region (2019-2020 bushfires, 2021 floods and the 2022 catastrophic floods) funding 23 programs valued over $5 million.

There are two components (or streams) within the proposed CWR evaluation approach: Stream 1 provides the formal evaluation including quantitative data and analysis, while Stream 2 focuses on placed-based evaluation elements, including qualitative data and community engagement. Collectively the evaluation team will consolidate the learnings from previous completed and draft CWR evaluation reports and participating CWR Program providers, as well as designing and delivering the evaluation of the active 2024-2026 CWR program.
