Project goals

Sydney Trains is seeking proposals from qualified and reputable suppliers for the supply of 3x hi ail excavators in accordance with technical specifications, and all its required attachments. The selected supplier will be responsible for obtaining approval from TfNSW Asset Management Branch prior to the delivery of equipment within the Sydney Metropolitan area (Clyde).

Scope

The contractor shall supply the 3x Hitachi ZX65USB-5A excavators (2x of which with hi rail configuration) and associated attachments, to Sydney Trains location (Clyde). The contractor will be responsible for obtaining approvals for TfNSW Asset Management Branch, recorded in the TOC Manual whole vehicle and hi-rail registration. Plant will be maintained and operated by Sydney Trains. The contractor will provide training to nominated ST staff in operation and maintenance of the equipment and attachments. The contractor will be responsible to outline and provide to Sydney Trains the proposed production and delivery schedule, consumables and spare parts lists, operating envelopes, performance technical data and appropriate contract details as part of the tender.
