Seeking suppliers to design, supply, install, and commission a robotic dosing system that integrates with the Ulma TFS 300 Thermoformer and REX RVFF327FP Vacuum Filler.

Project goals

Design and Manufacture Robotic Dosing System

• Develop a robotic dosing system to dispense product from the Rex Vacuum Filler through a food-grade dispensing system and end-of-line valve.

System Integration

• Ensure seamless integration of the dosing system with the Ulma TFS 300 Thermoformers to fill molded shapes (50–200 grams) with a texture-modified pâté-like consistency.

Software Development & Communication

• Develop software and establish communication protocols between the robotic dosing system, Rex Vacuum Filler, and Ulma TFS 300 Thermoformer for smooth coordination.

Robot Programming & Development

• Program and develop robot movements and filling patterns. Enable the robotic system to handle loads of 12–20 kg and perform efficient, precise dosing.

Safety Compliance

• Design the dosing system to be housed in a stainless-steel enclosure with safety interlocks. Ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) standards.

Training and Knowledge Transfer

• Provide comprehensive training on the operation of the complete system, including the Filler/Dosing unit, robotic system, and Thermoformer.

Operational Performance

• Ensure the system effectively fills products in 1 kg and 2.5 kg capacities. Meet the specific requirements of the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Food Production Unit.

Scope

Robotic Dosing System Design and Manufacture Suppliers must design, manufacture, and install a robotic dosing system that integrates with the Rex Vacuum Filler and Ulma TFS 300 Thermoformer for precise product filling.

System Integration The system must be integrated seamlessly to dispense a texture-modified pâté-like product into molded shapes of 50–200 grams in 1 kg and 2.5 kg capacities.

Software Development Suppliers will develop software for communication and coordination between the robotic dosing system, Rex Vacuum Filler, and Ulma TFS 300 Thermoformer.

Robot Programming The robotic system must be programmed to handle loads of 12–20 kg and deliver precise dosing, ensuring reliable operation.

Safety Compliance The robotic dosing system should be housed in a stainless-steel enclosure with safety interlocks to meet WHS standards.

Training Suppliers must provide training on the operation and maintenance of the integrated system, including the Filler/Dosing unit, robotic system, and Thermoformer.

Operational Performance The system must meet production and operational requirements at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Food Production Unit, ensuring effective filling in the specified capacities.
