Selwyn District is currently experiencing rapid growth in the district, and additional water sources will be required in order for SDC to maintain standards of service and for resilience. Selwyn District Council is looking to appoint a single Contractor to drill and test multiple new bores and one well in the district for the next three years.

We are seeking a solution that will provide safe, secure and reliable potable water for multiple locations across the district. Each location has its own site-specific challenges.

The RFT outlines multiple proposed drilling locations for water treatment plant (WTP) bores across different sites, each divided into Separable Portions (A, B, and C).

Indvidual site visits prior to submission of this RFT are available on request. These are to be requested by 18th Dec 2024, to allow planning for visits sometime before 20th Jan 2025
