The Bill Renfrew Sportsground, also known as the Bill Renfrew Oval, is situation at 141-157 Wills Street, Broken Hill and is a community oval used primarily for football and cricket practice. The oval is zoned as Zone RE1 – Public Recreation.

The oval is not locked and can be always accessed. It is used by the West Broken Hill Football Club, the West Broken Hill Cricket Club, and the Broken Hill Community

Broken Hill City Council (BHCC) invites qualified contractors to submit quotations for the supply and installation of an irrigation system at the Bill Renfrew Sportsground.

BHCC has obtained a detailed design for the irrigation system upgrade, which is provided as Appendix 1 Irrigation Design. The design document includes a parts list. This design aims to optimise water usage, improve field conditions, and enhance the overall usability of the sportsground

By implementing this irrigation system upgrade, BHCC aims to create a sustainable and efficient watering solution for the Bill Renfrew Sportsground.
