Melton City Council is seeking the services of a suitably qualified and experienced consultant to provide Council’s long-term scenario planning to ensure informed decisions around service level trade-offs across major asset categories.

With Council's current asset base valued at $3.7 billion and an anticipated $13 billion in additional assets from new developments over the next 30 years, the project aims to refine the financial forecasting model, integrating these growth factors to maintain sustainable service levels and asset health.

• Re-evaluate Service Levels and Asset Health: Assess the impact of new and upgraded projects on service levels, aligning them with long-term asset sustainability.

• Adjust Financial Forecasting Model: Update projections to reflect new projects, incorporating their influence on financial planning and resource allocation.

• Integrate New Subdivisions: Revise the financial model to capture anticipated growth from new subdivisions and the associated financial implications.

• Integrate future council infrastructure plan project in the long-term financial modelling.
