We require an AVETMISS compliant Student Management System, that fulfills DPIRD security requirements, with API capabilities. CRM, LMS, and capacity for customisation will be viewed favourably.

Project goals

Tocal College is the Registered Training Organisation for the NSW Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development. We deliver accredited and non-accredited training across the State of NSW and nationally, face-to-face and online, in both regional and remote locations. We have had our existing Student Management System (SMS) since 1995 and are now looking to upgrade to a new system. We manage around 5,000 students annually.

We are seeking a long-term partnership with a vendor who will be able to manage our student data and improve our administrative processes. The contract is for a period of 3 years, with a possible 2-year extension, but we see this as a significant investment for the College. We are wanting the new SMS to introduce efficiencies across the business, as well as meet our compliance obligations and regulatory requirements as an RTO for a State Government Department

Scope

An off the shelf AVETMISS compliant Student Management System (SMS), that complies with all DPIRD security requirements, that will integrate with our existing systems, and with potential customisations as necessary. Additional features of the SMS that will be regarded favourably are a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and a Learning Management System (LMS).
