1. NATURE AND TERM OF CONTRACT

Tenders will be accepted for the provision of Food Supplies – as listed

The Contract will be let on the basis of a 2- year fixed contract period with a commencement date of 3 February 2025

2. SERVICE OBJECTIVES

• To meet all requirements as prescribed in relevant acts and laws.

• To provide a detailed delivery schedule

• To provide a safe environment for staff

• To ensure all equipment is adequate

• To ensure all Tender specifications remain compliant for the term of the contract.

3 OPERATING PRINCIPLES

The Contractor will be required to adopt the following principles when delivering the service:

• Privacy, confidentiality, must be upheld at all times

• This will be adhered to in all situations

4. SCOPE OF SERVICE

Northeast Health Wangaratta, Benalla Health and Goulburn Valley Health are seeking a provider with the capacity to develop and maintain a high quality delivered Product.

The Health Services encourage the Contractor to propose innovations that can be shown to improve the service. The contractor, as part of the Annual Service Plan and Budget should submit with tenders and, at regular intervals, such proposals.

The Contractor must adopt a customer focus in the delivery and management of the service. The contractor must acknowledge and respond to the changing focus in the delivery of such services.

Benalla, Northeast Health Wangaratta and Goulburn Valley Health provide meals to a varied clientele, which includes Acute Campus patients & Aged Care residents, Staff meals and function requirements.

The Food Service Departments operate using a cyclic menu, which can change at short notice.
