Council is seeking to engage the services of a suitably capable and experienced contractor to undertake the Transport and Disposal of Waste and Recyclables for:

1) Haulage Services, including:

i. the collection of Garbage from the Ballina Resource Recovery Centre (BRRC), located at 167 Southern Cross Drive, Ballina NSW (BRRC), and transport of that material to the Contractor Nominated Disposal Facility; and

ii. from time to time, as requested by Council, the collection of Recyclable Waste from the BRRC and transport of that material to a Council Nominated Processing Facility. This Service is intended as a contingency, to be engaged during any planned or unplanned period where Council’s transport vehicle is unavailable; and

2) Disposal Services, including the lawful disposal of Garbage that is collected at the BRRC, at the Contractor Nominated Disposal Facility.
