The City of Canning is pleased to extend an invitation for submissions for a proposed contract aimed at enhancing the sports facilities at Ranford Oval in Canning Vale. This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to promote community engagement and support local sports organisations. We are seeking a lump sum tender for the comprehensive upgrade of the existing sports lighting at this vital community venue.

The planned installation will include six new lighting towers, strategically designed to meet the specific needs of the Canning Vale Junior Football Club, Ranford Soccer Club, and the Ranford Red Junior Athletics. With the implementation of this upgrade, the lighting will achieve a minimum of 50 Lux for training sessions and 100 Lux for competitive night games, ensuring optimal visibility and safety for all participants and spectators.

The contract will be awarded to a single contractor capable of fulfilling all project requirements, from the supply of materials to the installation of the floodlighting system. This project not only aims to improve the quality of sporting events at Ranford Oval but also to foster a vibrant community atmosphere by providing a well-lit and accessible space for local athletes and families. We encourage qualified contractors to submit their proposals and be part of this significant enhancement to our community sports infrastructure.
